Make a Habit of What Helps
🏃🥶Jogging in 25 degree weather? Five years ago - not an option. Today? Tough! But possible.
I get out there, bundled and cranky, because I know from experience that my day will be noticeably better if I do. My attitude is better, my outlook is positive and I have a better shot at staying mindful and relaxed amongst the day’s challenges.
For extra credit - if I tend to my health and vitality, I show up better for family, friends and coaching clients…and hopefully for longer! 🤞🏻
But it took a long time to get over the hump of making this a habit, and I go really easy on myself about not doing it if I just don’t feel it sometimes. I’m not trying to drive myself crazy.
The key is noticing what increases energy and possibility for you and exploring what happens if you turn the dial up a little in that direction; just a notch or two.
Look for anything that helps you feel more like who you want to be - at home, at work, in your body. Shine a light there. Experiment like a scientist. 🧪
And remember to bundle up! ❄️
